Boston Cream Pie | With maple syrup + cream cheese

Its July! Here we're dealing with an extreme heat wave. The past two weeks it's been between 28°to 40°, and I can't handle it. I really hope it will pass soon because of the humidity here it's hard to breathe and it's dangerous to the health.
How was your Canada day? Mine was lonely as we had friends that were moving and my parents went to help and I wasn't able to go. So I was home alone *sigh*Thought the next day we went to a park we had never gone too and it was gorgeous.

Ukrainian Honey Cake | Spring Dessert

Hello March!

So this week is Spring Break and so I will try to write more posts for the future. But before that, I have this great recipe to tell you all about.
I can not believe its March! By jolly February went fast. Did you watch the Olympics? Anything exciting happened in February? Anyway, March means we're getting closer to S P R I N G.
I found, tried and loved this recipe that I found, and changed it to my specifications (I took out somethings, like the walnuts) The Ukrainian honey cake is a spring recipe perfect for Easter.
Fairly easy and the ingredients are all we have in our kitchen. It can be decorated if wished.

Pistachio Pudding Trifle | Dessert

So this past week my family was hit with the flu and oh my!
I missed school, had a fever and *sigh* that was not fun. So after everyone got better I decided to 'celebrate' by making a cake. I had a set of mixes and ideas, things that I wanted to do but didn't know how.
And then I came up with: Pistachio Pudding Trifle.

Hot Chocolate Marble Cake | Quick and Easy

Happy Tuesday!
How was your week? The temperature? Here in QC, the temperature is something. Thursday the temperature rose, got warmer and the snow started to melt (yay!).  Friday it rained ALL day! But yay the snow is leaving. On Saturday I woke up to find that during the night it snowed about 2- 2 1/2 feet of snow. *sigh*  It took about 2 hours to clean and shovel the snow. My mom commented that she had never seen so much snow in her life. Now I am starting to realize why there is so much flooding when spring comes. Either way, let's get on with the show.

Have you ever had that sudden craving for sugar or maybe chocolate? But then think: all of the recipes take a lot of time or there's no cocoa powder, what shall I do? Well, I have a perfect recipe for you!
